French Foliage Thank You

Hi Stampers!
I wanted to create a thank you card using the colors from this week’s ColourQ Challenge #CQC57 (see http://colourq.blogspot.com/ for more details) and I decided to use the  sketch from the SC305 Sketch Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.

To create this card:
De-static a piece of Very Vanilla with the Embossing Buddy and stamp the large leaf image from French Foliage in Versamark Ink  and heat emboss with Clear Embossing Powder (EP).  Once the EP has dried, use a sponge dauber and apply More Mustard Classic Ink over the embossed images. Wipe the embossed images off with a slightly dampened paper towel.

Repeat the same steps above with the medium leaf image and apply Cajun Craze and a little bit of Taken with Teal over the images.

Again, repeat the same steps above with the smallest leaf image and apply Cherry Cobbler over the images.

Stamp the background French script stamp from the set with Taken with Teal over all of the images and wipe off the images again.  Using a Sponge Dauber with Taken with Teal, apply ink to the edges to your satisfaction.

Using the Big Shot, emboss a piece of Very Vanilla with the Vintage Wallpaper EF, a piece of Taken with Teal with the Square Lattice EF and a piece of More Mustard Designer Paper with the Finial Press EF (I used a piece of the retired Hostess DP).  Lightly sand the More Mustard layer to bring out the white core of the DP.

Finish off with the sentiment on a punched oval with the Medium Oval Punch and ribbon from my stash.

Stamp Sets:  French Foliage, Short & Sweet
Cardstock:  Very Vanilla, Taken with Teal (retired), More Mustard (retired Hostess DP)
Ink: Versamark, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, More Mustard, Taken with Teal
Accessories: Big Shot, Finial Press, Square Lattice and Vintage Wallpaper EF, Heat Gun, Embossing Buddy, Clear Embossing Powder, Sponge Daubers, ribbon from my stash

Thanks again for visiting- thank you for blessing my life!
